Guest Reviews

Excellent in Every Way!

We completely enjoyed our stay at The Thompson House. The home is spacious, very beautifully decorated, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The home is conveniently located near several National and State parks. Quiet and peaceful location. Not conveniently located to shopping and restaurants, keep that in mind if that is important to you. Moab is about a half hour drive and has all the food and shopping you need. This house is so awesome....we LOVED it!

Quiet location with newer house!

We totally enjoyed our stay! We did lots around Moab and the 35 min drive was relaxing with great views. The house is in a semi-deserted town but we loved the peacefulness and the cliff views. Added bonus...there are panels of petroglyphs just minutes from the property!

The house was nicely decorated and had a full, large kitchen. 2 bathrooms was also great. A great hideaway after some wonderful exploring and biking days!

Great way to sight see and avoid the crowds!

This is a nice, clean property and pet friendly. Great kitchen and 3 nice sized bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved it

The only thing I didn’t like was that I had to leave. Great place to stay as we enjoyed the National parks in the area. We will return next year and try our best to stay here again!!

We loved everything about it including the trains right across the street.

Everything went according to our expectations meaning that it couldn't have been any more perfect. The humongous kitchen could have easily accommodated more than the two of us, but we felt more than a bit pampered.

We didn't get around to meeting Dave McKay (property manager) until later in the trip and that was an error on our part; he knows the territory and we could have had even more fun than we had if we'd dropped by sooner!

When we return, we'll be there for two weeks and see even more of this breathtaking area.

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed staying at the Thompson House. The home was very clean and well stocked. We had all the kitchen tools needed to cook our meals. The kitchen is a great size and was very clean. We used the BBQ grill out on the back patio and enjoyed the evening outside too. The area is quiet and we never heard the neighbors. We would definitely stay again.

The place is very clean and has plenty of room.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Thompson House. It was nice not to be right in the crowds of Moab. We really liked exploring the nearby Sego canyon with all the Indian rock art and Ghost town ruins. We would stay here again. It was perfect for our family.

The house is well kept and immaculate! Not enough stars to rate this house!

The house is 35 minutes north of Moab, but so worth the extra distance because we rode north. We didn't have to fight the Moab traffic, going into the Arches National Park was easy access in and out. The house is across the street, next to the train tracks, but we hardly noticed the noise from the trains because we were usually gone for the day or too tired from having fun to notice. The owners were great, they fully stock the house. The kitchen and eating area is huge! The bedrooms are good sized. The furniture, lines and dishes all coordinate. This was a great place to stay and at a great price.

It was a great time by all.

We had three couples that stayed and went four wheeling. It was nice to come home from a long day on the trail . Which it felt like. Home!

Exceeded our expectations

Very clean, well stocked linens, kitchen equipment, and towels. Comfortable and spacious, will defiantly return.
